The desert circuit Merzouga from Marrakech, is one of our most popular tours in the Moroccan desert, you live an experience rich in landscapes of the Sahara. Starting from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and for 3 days, you will never be bored because you will be busy admiring one scene after another.

Day 1: Marrakech> Tizi n’Tichka> Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou> Boumalne Dades

Departure starts early in the morning. You will leave Marrakech towards the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou via the Tizi n’Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Many stops will be made during the trip. You will visit the Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 11th century. This is a striking example of traditional southern Moroccan architecture, a picturesque site filled with emotion.
After lunch, you will continue in the Rose Valley to reach your accommodation in Dades. After a traditional dinner with Berber dishes, you will spend the night in a hotel and enjoy a magnificent view of the valley.

Day 2: Dades Gorge> Todra Gorge> Merzouga

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take the road to the Toudra Gorge, consisting of high limestone cliffs dug for millennia. This beautiful site is also a pleasure for climbing enthusiasts.
After lunch, the trip will continue to the fascinating dunes of Merzouga. It is a village that marks the beginning of the Sahara. At this point, the vehicles will be replaced by camels to enjoy a traditional camel ride for one hour. You will cross the dunes and admire the sunset and the colors in perpetual evolution.
After a traditional dinner with Berber rhythms, you will spend the night under the stars in a nomad tent in the middle of the desert.

Day 3: Merzouga> Ouarzazate> Marrakech

First, you will attend the sumptuous sunrise early in the morning. Beautiful contrast, shadows, lights and colors … Then and after the traditional breakfast, head to Merzouga. Continue through the Drâa Valley and the Berber village of Agdez to reach Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah of Taourirte. It was built in the 17th century by the Glaoui tribe. Admire the exterior architecture of the monument, a sand castle with bronzed walls rising to the sky, crenellated towers located at different corners of the Kasbah.
Finally, crossing the chain of Atlas, you will take the road to Marrakech safely and comfortably to arrive at your accommodation in the evening


  • To begin, you cross the mountains of the High Atlas by the majestic Tichka Pass, located at 2260 m above sea level.
  • Then you will visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Then you will cross the three valleys: the valley of the rose, the Todra valley and the Dades valley.
  • In addition you can enjoy the great dunes of Merzouga by camel while admiring the attractive color change at sunrise and sunset.
  • Then you will discover the way of life of the nomads.
  • Then you can enjoy a traditional dinner in the desert.
  • Finally spend a night in a bivouac (nomad tent) under the stars.
